David Rohm — Co-Director, Producer & Cinematographer

David Rohm is an award-winning cinematographer and documentary filmmaker whose career is defined by a rare combination of technical mastery, creative vision, and an unwavering commitment to purposeful storytelling. With extensive industry experience spanning all facets of production — from camera selection and crew direction to post-production oversight — David brings both precision and artistry to every project he undertakes.

Rooted in a background in art direction and advertising, David built a creative foundation that has shaped his distinctly cinematic eye and elevated him to a respected voice in the documentary film industry. He is known for developing innovative production techniques that push visual boundaries while keeping the story firmly at the center — creating work that is as technically accomplished as it is emotionally resonant.

His ability to think decisively under pressure, adapt to unpredictable conditions, and never lose sight of a film's core purpose speaks to a filmmaker of deep professional maturity. Melissa Rohm is an award-winning conservation filmmaker whose work sits at the intersection of scientific rigor, artistic vision, and deep ecological literacy. As co-founder of Wild Excellence Films, she has built a body of work that illuminates the natural world with rare intimacy — crafting stories that move audiences and inspire meaningful conservation action.

Melissa brings more than three decades of field experience and academic training in both biology and English to her filmmaking practice, a combination that gives her work both intellectual depth and narrative precision. Her professional background spans marketing, editing, photography, and animal care — a diverse portfolio of disciplines that has sharpened every skill essential to world-class documentary storytelling: creative problem-solving, meticulous execution, field adaptability, and a commanding sense of narrative arc.

Widely recognized for her ability to forge genuine emotional connections between audiences and the wildlife she films, Melissa approaches every subject with patience, respect, and an acute attention to detail. Her belief that viewing each animal as an individual — with its own story worth telling — infuses her work with a compassion that resonates long after the credits roll.
